Practice and Reflection of Strengthening Social Participation in Urban Greening Construction in Beijing

Abstract

Abstract: The government and the public play an important role in promoting the greening construction and improving the eco-environment. Based on the analysis of the practice and related effects of social participation in Beijing's greening construction, the main problems of the social participation in greening construction in Beijing were further summarized. Moreover, suggestions to enhance the social participation in Beijing's greening construction were proposed from six aspects, including cultivating the consciousness of public participation, strengthening the social responsibility of the enterprises, expanding the ways of participation, actively attracting social investment, promoting the reformation of greening construction, and strengthening the laws and regulations.
