Based on the data of national afforestation integrated verification in recent years,this paper analyzed the factors influencing afforestation area preserving rate,rate of well established forests sapling growth conditions and other indicators.Discussions covered the following five aspectsafforestation follow-up management,afforestation investment of national key project,policy support after natural disaster damage,adaptability of afforestation for arid and semi-arid area,and conflict between forestry and animal husbandry.Finally,four suggestions on related policy are made,including strengthening afforestation follow-up management,increasing afforestation finance investment criteria in key projects,adopting measures of closing up hills for tree growing in arid and semi-arid areas and promoting assessment work of natural disaster damages.
