This article described the design and realization of forest resource management system. Following the techno-route, this system realized the management of forest resource based on GIS, Database and Internet technologies. The users can manage, update, identify, analyse and output forestry resource information according to the system. The system, built on the technology of C/S and B/S, serves three levels of forestry management departments-province, town and county.These systems at the three levels can operate independently and compatibly and perform data sharing, which not only provide a technical platform for forestry management departments but also for the public.
