Abstract: Tahe Forestry Bureau lies on the North of the Great Xing'an Mountains,which is the typical area of forestry management in that region.Based on investigation and observation,this paper proposes health evaluation index and criterion of Larix gmelini Forest for Tahe Forestry Bureau referring to the criteria of the State and Department.The criteria might be used in similar regions for evaluating the health status of forests.
