Research on the Issues and countermeasures of Forest Resources Property Right System in China

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the latest research at home and abroad,we reviewed and summed up our forest resources and the history and current status ofthe property right system. The five main issues have been analyzed on China’sforest resources and property right system. Those are: (a) weak sense of ownership, (b) incomplete main body of ownership and unclear right and liability, (c) lack of scientifically defined property rights, (d) property contents incomplete, and restricted disposing right, and (e) inappropriate government intervention. Six countermeasures have been put out to solve above problems.
