Abstract: For harmonizing the relationship between forest use and conservation, it is necessary to evaluate the forest carrying capacity in a region timely.In order to establish the theoretical foundation of forest carryingcapacity evaluation, the factors influencing forest carrying capacity, including natural conditions, resource base, technical advancement and society and economy development status, are analyzed deeply in this paper.
