Research on Distribution Characteristics of Garden Plants in Beijing Municipality

Abstract

Abstract: By using sampling method, 2 789 sample trees in 138 sample plo ts were measured in Dongcheng District of Beijing Municipality. The measurements include their individual diameter, height and crow n sizes.Based on the mensurements, research work was conducted on their distribution in terms of diameter and height, modelling of diameter-height relationship and modelling of diameter-crow n size relationship.Statistic features between garden plants and plants under the natural conditions were also studied.
