A Technical Method of Dynamic Forest Resources Monitoring at the County Level Based on the Permanent Sample Plots

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the permanent sample plots,monitoring of forest resources and ecological conditions was carried out in Hangzhou in 2008 to update the subcompartment data of counties (cities,districts) under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou. With Jiande as an example,we put forward a technical method of dynamic forest resources monitoring at a county level by archive updating,supplementary investigations,re-measured investigations and model projection methods,and analyzed the technical approach for developing the subcompartment stocking volume data updating model.
