Abstract: The legal concept of forestry is an important component part in forestry laws and regulations and the premise to determine the rights,obligations and responsibilities. Accurately grasping the meaning of the concept can affect directly the forestry law enforcement and practice. This paper analyzes the composition characteristics of the legal concept of forestry as well as the connotation and extension of the legal concept of forestry for forestry technical terms,the government ecological policies and unified forestry laws.
