Policy Advice on Forest Eco-compensation in China

Abstract

Abstract: The forest eco-compensation has become the focus that draws great attention of the international community,national governments,international organizations and enterprise groups.Since more than 20 years,the forest eco-compensation in China has gained an obvious development result and some problems have appeared also.Based on the definitude of connotation for forest eco-compensation,the main problems in China’s forest eco-compensation practice were analyzed,and the better policy advice for forest eco-compensation in China to promote sustainable development of forestry was discussed in this paper.
