Based on the landscape quality, growth quality and stability, the indicator system of the quality evaluation of the eco-landscape forest belt around the city was constructed. The weights of the factors and indicators were determined by the comprehensive weights based on the analytic hierarchy process and the entropy method to evaluate the quality of the shelterbelt. The study results are as follows:the comprehensive weighting based on analytic hierarchy process and the entropy method better balanced the objective information of the evaluation indicators and the subjective will of the evaluators.Landscape quality has the highest weight in the criteria layer.Seasonal aspect diversity, tree mixed status and shrub layer coverage are the key indicators reflecting the comprehensive quality of the shelterbelt.Growth quality and stability of the shelterbelt is relatively high, while landscape quality is low,so the quality of the shelterbelt still has a great room for improvement. The mixed degree of tree species is not good, the seasonal variation is not obvious, and the coverage of understory shrubs is not high, which is the main factor affecting the quality of the forest belt around a city.Focusing on the quality improvement of shelterbelt landscape, improving the stand of coniferous forest and evergreen broad-leaved forest, increasing the mixed degree of tree species, the seasonal variation and structural integrity of the stand, and adjusting the stand density reasonably, promoting the growth of understory shrubs and improving the biodiversity of forest belts in the process of protection are the main ways to improve the quality of the forest belt around a city

At present, the altimeter commonly used in field survey can be divided into two types:mechanical/optical and electronical altimeter. The mechanical/optical altimeter has a simple structure and there is a large reading error. The laser range finder is mainly based on the distance measurement and the error of the height measurement is large. The ultrasonic altimeter uses ultrasound waves to complete the distance measurement, and then the angle data is used to calculate the height of the tree. The device is divided into two parts:the main body and the reflector. Therefore, the measurement process is complicated. The new portable tree altimeter has a built-in temperature compensated MEMS tilt sensor and phase laser ranging. It is also equipped with a holographic laser sight. The tree altimeter is intelligent, precise, portable and easy to use.Through comparison with laser range finder and ultrasonic altimeter, the accuracy of the height measurement by the tree altimeter is basically the same as that of the ultrasonic altimeter, but it is better than the laser range finder; the accuracy of the distance measurement by the tree altimeter is basically the same as that of the laser range finder, but it is better than the ultrasonic altimeter.
